Your application will be reviewed once your payment is received.
Do I need a stage name/pin-up name? Do I need social media accounts for my pin-up persona?
Stage/Pin-up names aren’t mandatory for this pageant and social media accounts for your pin-up persona aren’t required.
How long do I have to apply?
Applications open at 9am Wednesday 31st May and close at 10pm Thursday 31st August.
The date for online voting is TBC but will be open until 12pm Saturday 28th October.
What happens after I apply?
All applications will be reviewed by our panel (panellists to be announced!) and a top 10 will be selected. From there, the top 10 applications will be loaded onto our website for the public to vote online. Don’t forget to vote!
What happens if I make top 10?
Rally those troops and get your friends voting for you online! Finalists are required for a show run through on the afternoon/evening of Friday 27th October, all day at The Very Vintage Day Out in Auckland Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October with times for photoshoots TBC. Contestants must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
The contestants will be assessed on the following criteria; daywear, beachwear, evening gown, talent and a Q&A section for the top four contestants. Finalists will be required for various media appearances during this time also.
After the Q & A section, the judge’s points are tallied and the title winners will be announced.
- Miss Pinup New Zealand 2017 – highest judges points
- Runner Up Miss Vintage 2017 – second highest judges points
- People’s Choice Award – by public vote
- Miss Picture Perfect – based on submission photos
