Photos
Show us your pinup personality through your photos. These images could win you the title of Miss Picture Perfect!
- Image 1: Vertical pinup style image – from waist up,
- Image 2: Vertical pinup style image – full length,
- Image 3: Your choice.
As finalist’s images will be used on our website and social media, entrants must receive permission from the photographer for each image submitted. While the photos are not required to be shot by a professional, we recommend it to boost your confidence and get some beautiful keepsakes.
Whether your photos are professional or not, the higher resolution the better!
How to label image files: PinupName_PhotographerName_ImageNumber.jpg (e.g. MissFlora_AmazingPhotos_1.jpg)
File format: JPEG file no larger than 2MB per image
Video
Your video entry must show you displaying a talent that is related to pinup culture.
This can be anything from dancing, singing, a demonstration, talking about a collection, talking about your love of vintage & pinup so get creative.
Please submit your video by copying and pasting the link into the entry form. YouTube videos are preferred but Vimeo works too – please make sure the video is not locked so we can easily view it.
We recommend your video is two minutes or less – keep it short and snappy!
Questionnaire
There will be a questionnaire on the entry form that you are required to answer. Think outside the box – tell us who you are!
All finalists will have their full entry posted on The Very Vintage Day Out’s website.
Entry Fee
The entry fee is $95 (incl GST) and is non-refundable. However, if you are not named as a finalist, the entry fee will cover the cost of your entry to The Very Vintage Day Out AND any other Very Vintage Events associated with the 2023 event.
You will be invited as our guest and your name will be on the door at each event. The fee will be an invoice sent to you via email and payment plans are available.

When you make it…
Finalists are required for the full day in Auckland on Saturday 11 February including one hour (maximum) after the prize giving for a photo shoot. Contestants must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
The contestants will be assessed on the following criteria; daywear, talent, beachwear, and evening gown.
The judge’s points are tallied, and the title winners will be announced.

- Miss People’s Choice 2023 – by public vote
- Miss Picture Perfect 2023 – based on submission photos
